Academic accreditation refers to the process of qualifying the university's academic programs for the academic accreditation through the following stages:
International Academic Accreditation:

- Reviewing the accreditation standards and procedures for several entities.
- Selecting the international accreditation entity.
- Making sure of the eligibility of the international accreditation entity that has been selected (Please click here to download the accreditation verification request).
- Signing the contract between the university and the accreditation entity.
- Preparing a time plan for the accreditation process (A guide form).
- Preparing the self-study report according to the standards and procedures of the accreditation entity.
- Determining the dates and schedule of the accreditation team's on-site visit.
- On-site visiting for ensuring the readiness for the visit of the accreditation team.
- On-site visiting of the accreditation team.
- Reporting of the accreditation entity.
National Academic Accreditation:

- Ensuring the readiness of the university's academic programs for the academic accreditation.
- Obtaining the approval of the Deanship of Development and Quality on the request of applying for the academic accreditation.

Meeting the Requirements of Applying for the Academic Accreditation by the University's Colleges

- The Mission statement and Objectives approved by the competent Councils (a copy of related minutes of meetings).
- Field Training Handbook (If available).
- Approved program specification/academic programs in the college
- Approved courses specifications for the program/programs.
- Annual reports of the program/programs (At least for 3 years).

- Courses portfolios of the programs/academic programs.
- Guidebook of the Benchmarks and Performance Indicators/Benchmarks adopted by the college and academic programs.
- An independent opinion report on the program quality/academic programs in the college.
- A list of scholarly publications of the academic program's faculty members/academic programs.
- A report about the community services of the program/college.
- A self-study of the program/programs and the annexes (Self-study scales, self-study report, evidences, performance indicators and benchmarks).
- Academic advising.
- A report about the learning resources.
- Students' services and activities (Periodic plan and report).
- Statistical data.
- Internal and external stakeholders' surveying.
- Consulting councils (The formation of the councils and the minutes of meetings).
- A list of the equipment and facilities of the classrooms and laboratories.
- A list of data about the university's teaching staff.
- Courses specifications and reports of the Predatory year.

- Strategic Plan and implementation plan for the college.
- Job description of the college's staff
- Regulations, instructions and handbooks of the academic departments/college.
- The formation of the Quality and Development Council and its minutes of meetings.
- The formation of the committees at the college level and their minutes of meetings.
- The formation of the committees at the department level and their minutes of meetings.
- The college's Annual Report.
