Vice-Deanship for Quality
Tasks and Powers of the Vice-Dean of Vice-Deanship for Quality:
1. Supervising the management of the affairs of its units in order to achieve the objectives of the Deanship and the higher policies of the university.
2. Coordinating the relevant authorities within the university and its branches regarding the work of the Vice-Deanship.
3. Setting up the system, internal instructions and executive controls of the Vice Deanship, general description of the duties of its employees, and the coordination mechanism between its affiliated units.
4. Supervising the implementation of the Vice-Deanship’s executive plan.
5. Recommending the termination of the employees’ tasks in its linked units.
6. Assisting in the preparation and implementation of the Deanship’s quality assurance plans.
7. Recommending the approval of the regular leaves for the Vice-Deanship’s employees and reporting their commencement of work, delay or cessation of work, to the competent authorities at the university to take the necessary action based on the university regulation.
8. Evaluating the Vice-Deanship’s employees’ performance and following up, preparing reports in this regard and submitting them to the Dean of Development and Quality.
9. Determining the Vice-Deanship’s human resources and physical needs, submitting a request to secure them to the Dean of the Deanship, and following up the ones that are approved.
10. Recommending faculty members or others whom their services are needed by the Vice-Deanship in accordance with the university regulations.
11. Submitting an annual report on the Vice-Deanship’s work and achievements.
12. Carrying out additional powers and related tasks assigned to him/her by the Dean and the Council of the Deanship of Development and Quality.
