The Deanship of Development and Quality (DDQ) held the first meeting with quality coordinators and vice-deans as part of the DDQ's objectives in disseminating the culture of quality and the continuous development of academic programs' quality on Monday, 29/02/1441 corresponding to 28/10/2019 for the academic year 1440/1441 A.H at 12 noon in the DDQ's training room. The meeting had been chaired by the Dean of DDQ, Dr. Fahad bin Saad Al-Sahli, who began the event by presenting the mechanism of applying for the program academic accreditation to the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA). Then after, three presentations had been delivered explaining the experiences of some of the colleges in the processes of applying for the international academic accreditation. The first and second presentations were addressed by Dr. Saud bin Fahid Alsubaie, the Vice-Dean for Quality and Postgraduate Studies, and Dr. Khalid bin Mufleh Al-Harthy, the Vice-Dean for Postgraduate Studies, Scientific Research and Quality. In specific, they presented the experiences of College of Applied Medical Sciences and College of Pharmacy, respectively, in applying and achieving the international academic accreditation. Then, the third presentation had been addressed by Dr. Mohammed Ilyas, the Coordinator for Development and Quality at College of Sciences and Humanities, explaining the experience of the college in qualifying its programs for the academic accreditation. After then, an open discussion had been held regarding the mechanism of applying for the academic accreditation.
