The Vice-Deanship for Development
Tasks and Powers of the Vice Dean of Vice-Deanship for Development:
1. Supervising the management of the affairs of the units associated with it in order to achieve the objectives of the Deanship and the higher policies of the university.
2. Coordinating with the relevant authorities within the university.
3. Communicating with the concerned training authorities, sending nomination requests to them, following up the training of trainees, receiving training results, and reporting them to the competent authorities.
4. setting up the system, the internal instructions and the executive controls of the units associated with it, the general description of the duties of its employees, and the coordination mechanism between them.
5. Supervising the implementation of the operational plan of the units associated with it.
6. Recommending the termination of the employees’ tasks of the of the units associated with it.
7. Recommending approval of the regular leaves for the Vice-Deanship for Development’s employees and informing the person of authority of their commencing work, delaying or discontinuing them.
8. Assisting in the preparation and implementation of development plans for the Deanship.
9. Determining and implementing the training needs of the Dean's staff.
10. Determining the Vice-Deanship’s human resources and physical needs and submitting a request to secure them to the Dean of the Deanship and following them up.
11. Evaluating and following-up the Vice-Deanship’s employees’ performance in coordination with the director of the unit, and preparing and submitting reports in this regard to the authorized person.
12. Recommending faculty members or others whom their services are needed by the Vice-Deanship in accordance with the university’s regulations.
13. Contributing to the preparation of the Deanship’s annual report with regard to the Vice-Deanship’s works and achievements.
14. Carrying out the additional powers and related tasks delegated to him by the Dean.
