In accordance with the Vision and Mission of the Deanship of Development and Quality (DDQ), four types of training programs are provided:
- (1) Internal Training
The internal training programs are those workshops that are carried out by faculty members working at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.

- (2) External Training
The Deanship of Development and Quality is not restricted in designing its training programs to internal ones, but it extends to include external training programs. The DDQ nominates active and energetic Saudi faculty members from both male and female sections working as full-time lecturers or performing administrative leadership positions.

(3) New Faculties’ Orientation Program
The new faculty orientation program is one of the most important programs organized by Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University at the beginning of each academic year in the path of professional development of the faculty member.

The Deanship of Development and Quality, within its training program, has developed a unique program named PSAU-BOA which stands for Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University's Board of Assessors.
