The institutional accreditation review panel from the NCAAA started its first day on-site visit on Sunday 24/07/1440H corresponding to 31/03/2019 at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz university as part of the plan of the on-site visit schedule of the national institutional accreditation review panel for the period ranging from 30 March to 4 April 2019. The first day activity of the review panel started with an initial meeting with HE the University Rector, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Hammad, at the Rector's office for the purpose of establishing a collegial and supportive relationship. Then, a meeting was held with the university Vice-Rectors to discuss the distribution of academic, research, administrative and services responsibilities at each level. Then after, the review panel went into a campus tour for the aim of visiting classrooms, science labs, research labs, medical health sciences teaching facilities and computer labs. After finishing the campus tour, the review panel held a meeting with the teams responsible for the SSRI, development and quality senior staff, Vice Rector of Development and Quality, Dean of Development and Quality and Specialists in Quality to discuss the preparation of the SSRI. Then, the review panel conducted a meeting with Vice Rector for Academic and Educational Affairs and Programs and Study plans committee members in order to discuss and explain the division of responsibilities between the different levels of the university regarding teaching and learning, processes for approval of new programs and major program changes, and PSAU monitoring of program quality. The first day activities of the review panel continued from 8:00 a.m. to 5p.m.
