In consistent with the implementation of the DDQ's plan for the continuously improvement and enhancement of the teaching staff's performance, the DDQ has organized a workshop entitled "Evaluation of Learning Outcomes." The workshop has been conducted for two days, Wednesday and Thursday 20-21 / 3 / 1440H corresponding to 28-29 / 11/2018, and in cooperation with the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment. The trainer was a consultant member at the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment, Dr. Mohammed bin Mohammed Al Madani. On the first day, the workshop was started at 9:00 a.m. highlighting the general concepts of measurement, the formulation of learning outcomes, the methods of measurement and how to put a plan to measure learning outcomes. The first day was concluded with a discussion of learning patterns based on Bloom's model. On the second day, a presentation was delivered on how to link learning outcomes with program objectives, the link of learning outcomes with program outcomes, learning strategies, mechanisms of measuring outcomes, outcome analysis, how to use matrix, calculating the weight in the assessment of learning outcomes. The Deanship of Development and Quality looks forward to the contribution of this workshop on raising the awareness of the teaching staff regarding the importance of quality, spreading its culture and enhancing the performance across the university units that, in turn, would positively influences the university outcomes.
