The Deanship of Development and Quality organized a workshop entitled "The Evaluation Study for Achieving The Academic Accreditation" for faculty members of different colleges as part of the Deanship of Development and Quality plan to educate and prepare the university faculty members for the evaluation study in achieving the institutional accreditation from the National Center for Academic Evaluation and Accreditation (NCAAA). The workshop was divided into six main sessions. The first session aimed at introducing to the faculty members to the quality assurance system at PSAU, whereas the second session intended to provide the trainees with information about the requirements for achieving the academic accreditation. Further, the third session highlighted the importance of academic accreditation. The forth session introduced the academic accreditation objectives. Moreover, the fifth session discussed the accomplishments that have already been attained by PSAU in achieving the institutional accreditation. Finally, the role of the staff members in achieving the institutional accreditation had been discussed. The Deanship of Development and Quality is hoping that this workshop helps in providing workshop's attendees with a range of knowledge related to the institutional accreditation and giving an important highlight to the contributions and role of staff members in achieving the institutional accreditation.
