The Deanship of Development and Quality (DDQ) has launched the first part of the training program entitled “Teaching Skills Masterclass” which is going to be delivered by the senior consultant Tim Hinchcliffe form the Higher Education Academy “AdvanceHe” at the DDQ’s Training Room for the period ranging from 20/1/2020 on Monday to 23/1/2020 on Thursday. The program is designed to train 30 Saudi faculty members from the both male and female sections. In specific, the training program is divided into four parts, whereas the first part started at 8.30 am till 3.00 pm, which aims at introducing the trainees to the concepts of teaching and learning, while the second part’s objective is to provide the trainees with the knowledge and skills on how to design curricula, the third part of the program aims at providing the trainees with the knowledge and skills needed to conduct monitoring, assessment and feedback, and the forth part of the program aims to address the concepts of teaching and learning in the twenty-first century and how to plan for the fellowship of the higher Education Academy. The DDQ looks forward to the contribution of these programs in developing the faculty members’ academic knowledge and skills and obtaining higher education fellowship.
